F/X - Special effects are all the rage today. Let's face it, with access to so many technological wonders right at our fingertips, it becomes harder and harder to WOW a consumer with the same ole' same ole'.

The WOW! Effect - At California Springs we are constantly searching for way to add another layer of excitement to our products. SolarActive F/X has become one of our better ideas. For a real dose of WOW!, take one of our SolarActive bottles out into the sun.

Surprise! - By adding a UV sensitive material to clear bottles, the bottle magically changes color when exposed to the Sun ... or any UltraViolet light source. The color change is fast and dramatic, especially for our stock purple and blue colors. When the Sun sets or hides behind a cloud (or the bottle is brought back indoors), the bottle slowly transforms back to translucent clear. The effect can be repeated hundreds of times.

More Bang for the Buck - SolarActive color change bottles cost a bit more, but the WOW! F/X is more than worth it.

Color Choices - It is possible to make SolarActive bottles in many different colors. However, the best effect is with purple and blue shades. Red shades tend towards pink. Other lighter colors are not as vibrant.

Contrasting Cap Colors - There is no additional charge for using a contrasting color cap. Choose a cap color that matches one of your imprint colors to further enhance the great look of your bottle (Please see 50+ Color Chart).

Idea 1 - To add another dimension to the bottle, we can match the cap to the color the bottle will change to after it is exposed to the Sun. With our 50+ cap color choices, we can match the cap to almost anything.

Idea 2 - Print images in white, or other light colors – and watch as the image appears when the bottle changes to it’s darker shade ... it’s magic!

Marketing - SolarActive color change bottles have been used in catalogs, hotels, and as movie promotions. They are great for outdoor events like picnics, 10K's, and other sporting events. Surely kids get a big kick out of anything with special effects, but grown up kids love this item, too.
